After six years of absence, Cerebotani Magazine is back in print at the Cerebotani Institute in Lonato, distributed to over 1,300 students. This new edition, significantly expanded from the experimental version of 2019, aims to reconnect young people with the world of print media by narrating school life and featuring testimonials from prominent figures in the local community. The initiative serves as a bridge between traditional journalism and new forms of digital communication, actively involving students in its creation.

Content and Exclusive Interviews
The new issue spans about twenty pages and features a well-defined editorial structure. Among the notable figures interviewed is Olympic champion Marcell Jacobs, who is featured on the cover, along with Giuseppe Pasini, president of the Feralpi Group and a former student of the institute. The magazine is divided into several thematic sections: “One School, Many Stories,” which explores the relationship between youth, social media, and information; “Champions of Tomorrow,” dedicated to the young sports talents of the school and the province; and “Champions of Today,” which shares the stories of established personalities. Additionally, there is a cultural section with insights into music and poetry, not forgetting a reference to the magazine’s online version, active since 2012 under the guidance of Professor Domenico Marchione.
An Educational Project Funded by the European Union
The production of the print magazine is the result of the “Professione Reporter” course, an initiative included in the Futura plan, “The School for Italy of Tomorrow,” and funded by NextGenerationEU as part of the PNRR. The project involved students Greta Abeni, Alessandro Andrea Banto, Gianmarco Borsarini, Jacopo Bruno, Cesare Cavalletto, Gabriel Cebotari, Francesco Fazi, Francesco Graniello, and Bruna Beatrice Pasqualini. Oversight was provided by journalist Alessandro Gatta and Professor Lucia Trane, with coordination from school principal Tecla Gaio and support from Manuele Ottelli. The printing was managed by Grafiche Tagliani Stampa e Comunicazione of Calcinato for internal use at the institute.
The Vision of the Administration
School principal Tecla Gaio commented on the initiative, emphasizing the desire to invest in print media as an educational tool. “In a time when reading a newspaper may seem like an act from a bygone era, we choose to start right here,” she stated. “With our editorial project, we are trying to bring students back to print media: not out of nostalgia, but out of conviction. The challenge is to unite the two worlds: to bring the solidity of print into the dynamism of the web and vice versa. We will continue to invest in this project, involving students and teachers, and giving voice to the school community. Reading a newspaper may not be fashionable, but it can still be a revolutionary act.”
