Change at the top of the Coast Guard in Salò: navigation safety guaranteed

A significant change in leadership has taken place at the Coast Guard in Salò, where Captain Antonello Ragadale has officially handed over command to Captain Massimiliano Quinto. The ceremony took place this morning in the presence of active military personnel and marked the conclusion of five years of intense activity, during which numerous interventions were carried out to ensure the safety of navigation on the lake. In the past week, the two officers met with local authorities, including the Prefects of the Provinces of Brescia and Verona, as well as the Mayor of Salò.

The Coast Guard has been operating in the lake basin for 26 years to maintain a high standard of safety, with an organization comprising 45 military personnel and 10 naval vessels. This commitment has been underscored by the Garda Community, which highlighted the importance of checks for recreational traffic and SAR operations in adverse weather conditions. Thanks were expressed to Commander Ragadale for his service in the Garda area, while new Commander Quinto was wished success in his new position.
