In Salò, a change of command ceremony took place for the Coast Guard of Lake Garda, with Captain Massimiliano Quinto succeeding Captain Antonello Ragadale. The ceremony, held this morning, was attended by active-duty military personnel and marked the end of a five-year leadership tenure for Ragadale, who will now lead the new Operational Unit for Lakes of the Coast Guard in Milan, responsible for coordinating operational teams on Lake Garda, Lake Como, and Lake Maggiore.
During the event, Secretary General Pierlucio Ceresa and the President of the Garda Community, Senator Mariastella Gelmini, expressed their gratitude for Commander Ragadale’s commitment to the Garda area during his tenure. The handover represents a significant moment for local law enforcement and underscores the importance of safety in the waters of the lake.
