The Christmas market in Cimego, known as “Carosello,” will take place over the weekends of November 29-30, December 6-8, and December 13-14, from 10 AM to 6 PM. Set in the enchanting medieval village of Quartinago, this event celebrates Alpine traditions through a path that winds through hallways, courtyards, and historic cellars decorated for the occasion. Visitors can immerse themselves in a magical atmosphere while exploring over forty stalls dedicated to local gastronomy and craftsmanship, featuring specialties such as cheeses from the alpine pastures and typical dishes from Trentino. This year, a highly anticipated addition is the “Witches’ Ball,” which promises to captivate the audience with artistic performances inspired by local legends. The market is not just a place to visit but also to experience: guests will have the opportunity to hear fascinating stories about the ancient witches of the Chiese Valley while savoring freshly prepared delicacies. The inauguration will take place on Saturday, November 29, at 11 AM in the square, kicking off an event that brings together tradition, culture, and conviviality in the heart of Trentino.
