The Colnago Cycling Festival 2026 is set to introduce an important change for cycling enthusiasts: the limited registrations will not only be divided by country but also by region. This decision, made by the organization in response to numerous requests, aims to ensure a fairer and more inclusive participation in the eighteenth edition of the event, which will take place in Desenzano del Garda. Registrations will open on August 28, and once the maximum number of bibs available for each region is reached, registrations will close, regardless of overall availability.
The maximum participant quotas for each region have been carefully established: Lombardy, Veneto, and Emilia Romagna will each have 200 bibs, while other regions like Trentino-Alto Adige and Piedmont will have 140 spots available. To ensure transparency in the process, registrants who do not secure a spot in their home region will be placed on a waiting list until March 20, 2026, when any available spots will be assigned according to the order of registration. In the event that all spots are filled, registration fees will be fully refunded.
