Today, Monday the 21st, Castelnuovo del Garda celebrated the 50th anniversary of Gardaland Resort with the issuance of a commemorative stamp designed by students. The ceremony took place in the heart of the park, where the stamp issued by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy was officially canceled as part of the thematic series “The Excellence of the Productive System and Made in Italy.” Notable figures such as Undersecretary Fausta Bergamotto and Mayor Davide Sandrini attended the event, emphasizing the importance of Gardaland as an ambassador for Made in Italy.
The project originated from the initiative of students from the “Enrico Fermi” Comprehensive Institute, who, after discovering the 50-year milestone on their own, collaborated to create graphic sketches. With the support of Gardaland, the students worked for months to bring the stamp to life, featuring iconic symbols such as the Prezzemolo Tree and a commemorative logo. The stamp is now available at post offices and on Gardaland’s e-shop, representing not only a tribute to the park but also a recognition of youthful creativity.
