Today, Monday the 21st, in the heart of Gardaland, the official cancellation of a commemorative stamp took place to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the amusement park located in Castelnuovo del Garda. The stamp, issued by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy as part of the series “The Excellence of the Production System and Made in Italy,” pays tribute to Gardaland’s iconic role in Italian culture. The ceremony was attended by numerous guests, including Stefano Cigarini, CEO of Gardaland Resort, and Fausta Bergamotto, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Enterprises.
The creation of the stamp was the result of an initiative by the students of the “Enrico Fermi” Comprehensive Institute in Romano di Lombardia, who designed the project to celebrate this important milestone. Professor Stefano Gelsomini explained how the students worked for months on the sketches in collaboration with Gardaland. The stamp features iconic symbols associated with the park and will be available at post offices and online. This initiative not only marks a significant moment in Gardaland’s history but also highlights the commitment of young people to enhancing Italy’s cultural heritage.
