Community collaboration in Cornuda supports vulnerable residents with regional-funded social services
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly people and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating moments of meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the different involved components.
