Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories.

Transportation services, social transport, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
