Start of the agreement and participants

On the day of the June 1996 entry, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which lasts two years, aims mainly to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the realization of the ^’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Union funds.

Activities and planned goals

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.

Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be strengthened.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The role of institutions and associations

^l Municipal Administration has committed to support the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination between the different involved components.

Volunteer associations will play a central role in the^’ organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.
