Community Collaboration Supports Vulnerable Groups in Cornuda Initiative

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteering organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total funds allocated for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the groups most in need. Additionally, social transportation and institutions, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
