New Tourist Routes Launch From Lazise to Verona and Monte Baldo

From this summer, campers in Lazise can reach Verona’s city centre or join a dedicated Monte Baldo tour thanks to two new services promoted by Destination Verona & Garda Foundation. The initiative links the lake, art cities and the mountain to expand visitor options and help balance tourist flows across the area.

The first service is a direct shuttle operating every Friday, with pick-up points at participating campsites and designated collection areas in Lazise. It arrives in Verona in the morning and returns in the late afternoon, giving visitors the full day to visit museums and monuments, explore the historic centre, go shopping or attend scheduled events. Destination Verona & Garda Foundation president Paolo Artelio said the goal is to present Verona, Lake Garda and Monte Baldo as a single destination, while Verona’s tourism councillor Marta Ugolini highlighted the role of alternative mobility and suggested integrating the shuttle from next year with local cards and tickets for major cultural attractions.

Alongside the Verona shuttle, there is an organised day trip departing from Lazise to the Santuario Madonna della Corona, with a guided visit, followed by a wine tasting and a transfer to Ferrara di Monte Baldo for a guided walk in the historic centre and a stop at a shop selling local traditional products. Ferrara di Monte Baldo mayor Carla Giacomazzi described the tour as a way to enhance the mountain’s natural, landscape and food-and-wine heritage, and Lazise tourism councillor Enrico Olivieri said it adds new experiences to a lake holiday.
