Start of Agreement and Participants

On the day of June 1996 entries, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting socially vulnerable individuals.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European community funds.

Activities and Expected Goals

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

In addition, social transport and services will be enhanced, along with listening and gathering centers.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the people involved, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity.

The Role of Institutions and Associations
