Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day of June 1996 entries, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the socially most vulnerable people.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which lasts two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ^’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

Activities and Expected Goals

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories.

Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be strengthened.

The project intends to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved people, also creating moments of meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The Role of Institutions and Associations
