Community Initiative Launched to Support Vulnerable Residents in Cornuda

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives from local political and social forces participated in the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the target groups. Additionally, social transport systems and institutions, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
