Community Initiative Supports Vulnerable Residents in Cornuda
Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially disadvantaged individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total allocation for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering points will also be expanded.

l’ Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiative, providing surveillance and coordination services among the different parties involved.
