Community Initiative Supports Vulnerable Residents in Cornuda
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ’ initiative totals approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the most vulnerable categories.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
