Community Initiative Supports Vulnerable Residents in Cornuda
Beginning of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Furthermore, social transportation, services, listening centers, and gathering places will be strengthened.
