Community Support Initiative Aims to Improve Vulnerable Residents’ Lives
Start of the agreement and participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the socially weaker individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly people and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the vulnerable groups.
Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be enhanced.

l’ Municipal Administration has formalized its commitment to support the initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the different parties involved.
