Community Support Initiative Launched in Cornuda for Vulnerable Residents
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the quality of life for elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for implementing the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.
Activities and Planned Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Transportation services and social services, listening centers, and gathering points will also be enhanced.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The Municipal Administration has committed to support the initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination among the various involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in the’ organization and management of activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
