Start of the agreement and participants

On the day of June 1996 entry, an agreement was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the socially most vulnerable individuals.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims especially to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ^’ initiative amounts to around one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

Activities and expected objectives

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the categories of the most vulnerable.

Transport services, social services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The role of institutions and associations

^l Municipal Administration has formalized its commitment to support the initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the different involved components.

Volunteering associations will play a central role nella^’ organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.
