Community Support Project Launch in Cornuda to Aid Vulnerable Groups
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the groups most in need. Additionally, social transport services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
