Confesercenti in Salò Launches Door-to-Door Petition Drive at Local Shops
A campaign by Confesercenti in Salò has kicked off this morning to collect signatures in support of a people-initiated bill titled “Measures for the urban regeneration of local commerce and nearby services.” Volunteers are visiting shops in the town centre, and the door-to-door effort will continue over the coming days.
The initiative involves collecting endorsements from local retailers for the national campaign “Let’s give strength to shops in our neighbourhood.” Confesercenti said dozens of merchants have already signed, with some municipal councillors taking part to authenticate the signatures, and the association thanked the Comune di Salò for its cooperation. The bill would establish “Special Economic Zones for Proximity (ZESpro)” and a national plan to counter the desertification of local retail, including fiscal, financial and administrative measures, with the national goal of reaching 50,000 signatures to bring the proposal to Parliament.
Signatures can be submitted online via the Ministry of Justice portal using SPID, CIE or CNS, through Confesercenti’s dedicated campaign page, or in paper form at Salò’s municipal electoral offices.
