Cornuda Launches €100K Initiative for Elderly and Disabled Support

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total allocated fund for the implementation of this initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
The project seeks to promote social integration and improve the quality of life of the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing surveillance services and coordinating the various involved components.
Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
