Cornuda Launches €100K Social Support Project for Vulnerable Residents
Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project in support of the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training, and socialization courses for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be strengthened.
