Cornuda Launches Social Support Project for Elderly and Disabled
Agreement in Cornuda
On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last for two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total allocated funds for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also fostering opportunities for community meetings and solidarity among citizens.

The municipal administration has committed to supporting these initiatives by ensuring security services and coordination among the various involved parties.
