Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Inclusion with €100K Funding

On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.

The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.

Planned activities and objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the people involved, also creating opportunities for community meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The role of institutions and associations

The municipal administration has committed itself to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.

Voluntary organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
