Cornuda Social Support Project Aims to Boost Inclusion, Residents

On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the lounge of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly people and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

Planned activities and objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
