Cornuda Launches Social Support Project for Vulnerable Residents

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the vulnerable groups. Moreover, social transportation services will be enhanced, and listening centers and gathering spaces will be established.
