Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Begins with Community and Institutional Support

Start of the agreement and participants

On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was signed at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to implement a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces took part in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced and listening and gathering centers established.
