Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launch Supported by Local Organizations

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for implementing the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union grants.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation services will be strengthened, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and enhance the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community interaction and solidarity among citizens.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

The Municipal Administration has committed itself to supporting the initiatives by providing surveillance and coordination services among the involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
