On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
