Start of the Convention and Participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last for two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the Municipality. The total budget allocated for implementing the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union sources.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transport will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
