Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches Support for Vulnerable Groups

Convention in Cornuda

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of this initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community sources.

Activities Planned and Objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

The municipal administration has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting these initiatives by ensuring security services and coordinating the various involved parties.

Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.

Overall, the convention represents an example of collaboration between institutions and citizens, aimed at safeguarding and enhancing the quality of life for more vulnerable individuals.
