On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces took part in the operation, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the realization of the initiative is about one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
