Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches to Support Elderly and Disabled

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community resources.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker segments. Social transportation services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
