Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Community and Local Authority Support
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project in favor of the socially most vulnerable people. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for categories most in need. Additionally, social transport, services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be enhanced.
