Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Community and Local Authority Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

Activities and Planned Goals

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Social services transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
