On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is about one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.
