Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with €100K Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention took place in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will have a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the groups most in need. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and meeting centers will be established.
