Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with €100K Funding

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training, and socialization courses for the more vulnerable groups. Social transportation services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
