Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with €100K Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the target groups. Social transportation will also be expanded, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
