Start of the agreement and participants
On the day of June 1996 entries, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project supporting the socially most disadvantaged people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations and various volunteer organizations.
Goals and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.
Activities and expected objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
