Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with EU Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, mainly aims to improve the quality of life for the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union resources.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker segments. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
