Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Local Partnerships
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives from local political and social forces participated in the ’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Goals and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.
Activities and Expected Objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker categories.
In addition, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in the’ organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
