Start of the agreement and participants
On beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total allocated amount for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
