Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative’s implementation is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training, and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be expanded, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
