Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention took place at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most disadvantaged social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization opportunities for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
