Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches With Local Support and €100K Funding
Start of the agreement and participants
On the day of June 1996 entries, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Goals and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Activities and expected objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transports and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
