Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Regional Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day of June 1996 entries, an agreement was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project in favor of the socially most vulnerable people.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which lasts two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.

The total amount allocated for implementing the ^’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
